Our
Mission Statement
We are now well into our second decade as an independent international
consultancy focusing on the use, development, and conservation
of the world's water's edges and water resources for marine
commerce, recreation, leisure, private lifestyles and public
enjoyment. Over 500 consulting assignments have been completed
for over 300 U.S. and international clients so far - and counting.
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new
visitors and to welcome back our old friends. Our thanks to
the many people who helped start us on our way, our gratitude
to those who have kept us going, and (in advance) our appreciation
and commitment to you with whom we may work in the future.
We know we are only as good as our most recent satisfied client
or trusted friend's referral support says we are.
Your interest and support have enabled us to achieve what
many of you had suggested was needed when we started the firm.
We created a unique multidiscipline approach with private
and public clients and consultants to achieve the best coordination
along the water's edge and between land and water elements.
We seek the best balance among economics, functionality ,
esthetics and environmental quality for our clients in a broad
range of waterfront areas and their uses. We continue to refine
this approach.
To meet our various clients needs, we have worked directly
with them as independent consultants, and we have assembled
and led many diverse consulting teams. We have also worked
as a team member with many fine professionals on teams which
they have assembled and led on US and international projects.
We remain flexible in the team structures and roles of the
"Group" in The Corrough Consulting Group.
In the course of our efforts, we have flown, rowed, paddled,
dived, sailed, motored, climbed, walked, measured, sampled,
surveyed, interviewed, researched, written, drawn, estimated,
and done a host of other activities at, on, and under the
water on the coasts, rivers and lakes of six continents and
more than fifty islands and other offshore locations during
our history. We will still go (almost) anywhere.
In these travels and activities we have met and worked with
some very nice people, we have broadened and deepened our
professional skills and experience. We have seen both the
great beauties and the great problems of the world's water
resources and coastal areas through our own eyes, and through
yours as well. Our job, on your behalf, has been to enhance
the beauty and improve the quality of these water-based experiences
for people, which is both enjoyable and important work.
We welcome the opportunity to work with you on more of these
diverse projects along the world's water edges, and on/in
its water resources. Let's discuss your plans & ideas.
Come visit us on the bayfront, call us, or contact us through
this website . We're always open for new experiences.
